Rod Nelson and Restoration Services Incorporated form VETCO, LLC

(Oak Ridge, TN January 30, 2008) Congressman Zach Wamp participated in a signing ceremony and helped Rod Nelson announce the formation of VETCO, LLC a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business incorporated in the state of Tennessee. Restoration Services Incorporated (RSI), a local womanowned small business, is a minority partner in VETCO.

VETCO, LLC is an Environmental Services Company with technical capabilities in the areas of ProjectControls, Regulatory Strategy and Documentation, Characterization, and Public Involvement. With the support of RSI, VETCO delivers a broad range of technical resources and the strength of mature business systems and operating procedures.

Restoration Services Incorporated (RSI), was established in 1996 and has over 11 years of experience in the environmental field. Staci Ferguson is the President of RSI. RSI is a technical services company with over 100 technical personnel on staff and has a reputation for innovative solutions. They have mature business systems and procedures and an outstanding safety record. Current and previous clients include the Bechtel Jacobs Company, U. S. Department of Energy, BW Technologies, United States Enrichment Corporation, UT-Battelle, Paducah Remediation Services, Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, and Theta Pro2serve Management Company. At the signing of the Operating Agreement Staci noted that “RSI is proud to be able to provide assistance and support to a veteran that is disabled as a result of service to his country.”

Rod is a veteran of the United States Army and disabled as a result of exposure to agent orange in Viet Nam. Rod has over 35 years of progressive business experience gained in the federal government and the private sector. As a former Project Manager and Member of the Federal Government’s Senior Executive Service with the Department of Energy, Rod has broad experience in the environmental and nuclear security fields. With his extensive experience in the government and commercial arena Rod is uniquely qualified to provide service and business excellence to Federal Agencies.
